I just wrote one on affording travel. It is a great topic. I think many pine away for travel and think it is not attainable – so not true!
I’m going to link this on my website http://www.theeducationaltourist.com where I write about traveling with the kids and learning along the way. Would love a shout out from you!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi! Yes, you hit the point exactly. It is all about choices and priorities.
I could get much better at the miles/points game…that works well for so many.
Happy Travels! 🙂

Many people think they cannot afford travel but they do not prioritize it and spend their money on other things. It depends on what is important to each person but many people can afford to travel if they want to. When we first started traveling we were super frugal and would save our money so we can travel. As we have gotten older we have started collecting miles and hotel points to finance our travels so we have eased off the savings a bit.

Hey Jessica! The craziest part of course is how small amounts of saving at home can go really far once you’re traveling. Happy travels 🙂

I do think about what I spend my money on at home, forgoing simple luxuries like expensive coffees and getting my nails done. Would much rather put those few dollars to travel!

Hey, thanks for stopping by!
Good luck with the saving…the holidays can be especially tough. Sometimes it’s easier to cut back on ourselves than it is to cut back on others. Keep the end goal in sight…I know you’ll get there!
Happy saving and happy travels 🙂

Some great tips here, thanks for sharing them. I am in the saving phase at the moment and it’s hard to keep to a budget, especially with Xmas coming up.
