Your post is going to be a great starting point. I can’t wait to indulge and fatten on laska and meat pies. 🙂
Thanks for the tips!!

I’m with you on this one! That is one of my favorite things about big cities—the availability, variety, and quality of different foods. It’s fun to discover each place’s personal food flair.
Thank you for reading! And PS The laksa tastes even better than it looks. 🙂

Hi, I did not try chicken parma while I was there, but the family I stayed with made me chicken schnitzel one night!
I didn’t make it to Melbourne (dang it!) but I am DYING to get there as I have heard the greatest things. Looks like a great place to eat as well. Cheers!

The pie looks fab and fish and chips is always a winner. You are right in that it is very popular in Australia.
Did you try chicken parma? That is very popular Down Under.
I’m not sure if you’ll allow it but I wrote a piece on eating out in Melbourne which might be of interest? http://flightsandfrustration.com/the-magic-of-melbourne-more-than-5-great-places-to-eat-in-melbourne/

Thank you, Christine! I really appreciate your comments. Is there anything better than travel and food?! (no…) 😉
I totally hear you when it comes to being adventurous with food, or adventurous at all for that matter. That is why I love traveling so much…it makes me participate in life in ways I never would at home! Thanks for reading 😀

I found your blog through the blog forum on Lauren Conrad’s website. I love traveling and I love food so your blog is literally perfect for me. You were pretty adventurous trying a lot of this food. I don’t think I would have been able to handle it very well, ha! I like to say I’m a well-rounded eater and try everything but I’m really finicky when it comes to fish. Great post!!
~Christine
