Venice in Black and White

July 25, 2014 Photo Essays, Travel

Is there anywhere as timelessly beautiful as Venezia?
Well, maybe all the other cities (Rome, Barcelona, Paris) I’ve posted in black and white…but, still. Venice. Sigh.

I loved Venice when I went (on my 21st birthday!) Maybe would have loved it even more behind a black-and-white lens…..

Stunning photos, Anne! Venice is one of my most favorite cities – not only in Italy, but in the world. How did you manage to get so many shots with no people in them? Were you up at like the butt-crack of dawn??

Hahaha – no these were in broad daylight, I assure you! I think I just am stubborn about not having too many people in a shot, so I tend to wait it and snap at just the right moment. You’re right, it’s always so crowded! But worth it, such a beautiful place 🙂

Gorgeous shots– was I in the same city? Lol it was so crowded when I was there how lovely to see it looking like I imagined. I love the gondola shots especially.

Aww yeah I think I am just crazy about not having people in my shots. It was crowded for me, too! And thanks, I could take pictures of the gondolas all day long! 🙂
